Accessibility statement
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Brakan’s accessibility aims, current limitations and reporting route.
Commitment
Brakan aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA for its core customer journeys. The service is still a private pilot and has not yet received an independent accessibility audit.
Current design
- Keyboard-operable forms and navigation.
- Semantic labels and headings.
- Responsive layouts and user-selectable light, dark or system themes.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Status information that does not rely on colour alone where implemented.
Known limitations
- Some dense financial and calendar tables may require horizontal navigation on small screens.
- Generated customer documents are designed for reading and printing but require further assistive-technology testing.
- Third-party authentication, bank-consent and anti-bot interfaces are partly outside Brakan’s control.
- The full application requires structured manual keyboard and screen-reader testing before public launch.
Report a problem
Email support@mail.brakan.co.uk with the page, device, browser and assistive technology used. Do not include sensitive customer records. Brakan will record and prioritise barriers affecting essential tasks.
